Our Process


At Write Current, we pride ourselves on offering a wide variety of content, social media and digital marketing solutions for small, midsize and large businesses.

It’s important to us that you understand our processes, feel comfortable asking us questions and have a solid understanding of what to expect when it comes to working with us.

Below, we’ve outlined our process stages from discovery call to project completion.

Discovery Call

15 minute discovery call to identify your goals and pressing areas of need for your content, social media and digital marketing programs.

Statement of Work

Should you wish to proceed with your project after your discovery call, we will send you a Statement of Work for your review and signature. Please note, deposits must be paid prior to project commencement and are due upon acceptance of statement of work.

Welcome to Write Current!

Within 24 hours (or 1 business day) of receipt of your signed statement of work and deposit you will receive a welcome email with our policies and procedures and a link to schedule your 60 minute Project Kickoff Call.

Project Kickoff Call

We value the time and commitment you’re dedicating to your project by participating in this project kick off call. It’s important to us that all of our communications together are productive and with that in mind we will email you an agenda prior to each meeting.

Project Start

We will use the information we gather from your Project Kickoff Call to develop a work plan for your project tailored to the goals, objectives and challenges you’ve shared. A project board will be created for you in Trello along with a folder in DropBox or Google Drive (whichever you prefer for document sharing). A work plan will be submitted for your approval through Trello.

Schedule of Project Deliverables

A schedule of deliverables for your project will be created based on your project timeline. Deadlines will be set for first draft, revisions and delivery of final version for each type of content and social media marketing collateral. If your project is monthly ongoing (examples of typical monthly ongoing projects include: Ghost Blogging, Email Marketing, Industry Articles, Social Media Management, Website Maintenance, etc.) a monthly project call will be booked in addition to your deliverable schedule in order to review progress to date and metrics of key performance indicators.

Project Completion

At the completion of your project, we will send you your final invoice, which is due upon receipt. We invoice our US and International clients via PayPal. Payment for Canadian clients can be processed using Square or E-Transfer.
